Description We are seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to join our team in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. This role will be vital in the Defense Software industry, functioning as the first point of contact and providing administrative support within the office. The successful candidate will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including reception duties and office management tasks. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Manage the reception area, greeting and directing visitors as they arrive at the office. Assist in the preparation and coordination of office events and meetings. Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the office, including the kitchen area, to ensure a positive workplace environment. Handle lunch orders and ensure the kitchen is fully stocked with necessary supplies. Use various software including Gmail, Google docs, and Salesforce to complete administrative tasks. Liaise with the new facilities manager starting from June 1st. Adapt to the fast-paced nature of the role, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Prepare the office for the return of 180 staff members following a major event. Maintain open lines of communication with team members and management. Anticipate office needs and take proactive action to meet them. Requirements Possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field Proven experience in receptionist duties or similar roles Familiarity with defense software industry would be an advantage Proficient in using office software including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Excellent organization and multitasking skills Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality Customer-focused with a professional and welcoming manner Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure Willingness to learn new software and stay updated with industry trends and advancements.
