The Internal Developer Portal is aimed at unlocking capabilities for API authors, owners, and consumers through the various phases of API management lifecycle.Job responsibilities
Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
Works alongside the tech and design leads to break down complex UI into simpler components
Participates in code review, providing constructive feedback as needed
Collaborates with other teams in API Marketplace - to understand requirements, manage dependencies, workshop solutions and build a community of trust amongst all stakeholders
Mentors / coaches junior engineers on the team - providing technical leadership and promoting a culture of collaboration
Works with agility and project management counterparts to ensure backlog is healthy, JIRA hygiene is maintained, and releases are well planned and documented
Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes; including oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
Demonstrated experience with React Development
Proficiency in frontend technologies such as Javascript, Typescript, React and Vue
Experience working with Design Systems; customizing component architechture using design tokens
Knowledgeable of best practices for accessibility, security, performance and optimization
Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
Experience managing code versioning and Pull Request (PR)/review practices for large teams
Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Prior AWS experience, with certification in at least one development path
Prior experience building full stack applications with Java Spring Boot
Familiarity with Design Thinking and with with Figma
Experience with content management systems and with internationalization frameworks
