Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to the ReStore Manager in the management of day-to-day store operations;
Coordinate store layout and merchandising;
Lead and train staff/volunteers on proper pricing structures;
Open and close store and operate register as needed;
Provide onsite supervision of staff and volunteers;
Ensure a safe environment for staff, shoppers, donors, and volunteers;
Train staff/volunteers on various work functions, processes and customer service;
Engage customers and provide excellent customer service;
Meet or exceed budgeted sales goals, while seeking ways to reduce operating expenses;
Supervise daily product flow, ensuring donations are handled with care and efficiency;
Enforce all CHFH and ReStore policies fairly;
Make policy recommendations as needed;
Handle customer complaints when necessary;
Represent Monmouth County Habitat for Humanity at events as requested;
Support the mission and programs of Monmouth County Habitat for Humanity;
Other duties as assigned.

Creative self-starter with ability to work both independently and with other staff and volunteers;
Ability to provide direction to staff and volunteers;
Physical ability to complete work in the store/warehouse, even during inclement weather;
Able to safely move heavy donations using dollies and other provided tools;
Job will entail routine bending, kneeling and reaching, and lifting;
Criminal background check and driving record history will be conducted on prospective employee prior to extension of job offer

Increasing number of truck donations weekly
