Description We are providing an opportunity for an Underwriter to join our client's team in the Lawrenceville, New Jersey area. This role will involve analyzing the risk and exposure of potential clients, making decisions based on evaluations and ensuring compliance with all company guidelines and regulations.Responsibilities: Evaluate the risk and exposure of potential clients through thorough analysis. Review applications meticulously to ensure all necessary information is obtained. Make informed decisions on whether to accept, modify, or decline a client. Ensure all underwriting activities comply with company guidelines and regulations. Maintain and update customer credit records. Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Utilize skills in Administrative Assistance and Evaluation Processes to perform duties effectively. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all tasks.Requirements Possess strong skills in administrative assistance. Demonstrated experience in evaluation processes. Proven ability to make informed decisions based on financial data and risk assessment. Strong knowledge of underwriting principles, procedures, and techniques. Effective communication skills and ability to work well with team members. Proficient in using underwriting software and other related computer applications. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to adhere to regulatory and company underwriting guidelines. Proven record of reliability, confidentiality, and adherence to professional ethics. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field is preferred. Relevant certification in underwriting may be advantageous.
