You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering top-notch service to our clients, contributing to the seamless operation of smart buildings, and championing Honeywell's commitment to excellence.You will report directly to our Field Service Supervisor, and you will support our clients in Morris Plains, NJ and the surrounding area.Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance on building automation equipment to ensure optimal functionality

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues promptly, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions

Provide on-site support to clients, addressing technical inquires, and offering guidance on system usage

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all service activities including installation records, maintenance reports, troubleshooting procedures, etc.

Ensure proper use of safety and personal protection equipment

Acquire security and other clearances as required by customer

YOU MUST HAVE:

Technical and mechanical aptitude

Experience identifying and properly using trade tools appropriately

Ability to work independently

Some knowledge of basic electrical, fire system, sensors, or robotics principals

Ability to travel throughout the service area, with occasional overnight stays

Valid Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell

WE VALUE:

2+ years of experience within the construction or field service industry

Technical degree or certification in relevant field (Electronics, HVAC, Electricity, etc.)

Experience in controls, mechanical, fire and security industry.

Experience dealing with customer satisfaction

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
