You'll be the driving force behind implementing and updating our infection control policies, with a particular focus on COVID-19 vaccination and prevention. You'll be a key part of our mission to maintain a 100% vaccination rate and ensure that all residents and staff are protected.Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor infection control programs in accordance with CDC, OSHA, and local regulations.
Regularly review and update infection control policies.
Educate staff on infection prevention practices and ensure compliance.
Build strong, trusting relationships with residents, making sure they feel safe and cared for.
Top Must-Haves:
Flexible: Able to adapt to the dynamic needs of the facility.
Infection Control Expert: In-depth knowledge of infection control practices, with a special focus on COVID-19.
Experienced: Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience, including at least one (1) year in long-term care.
Certified: RN, BLS/CPR certification required; APIC certification on infection prevention and control preferred
