Description An international Marketing Company located in Newark, has an opportunity for a Staff Accountant. This is a remote position but will need to be onsite as needed AND MUST LIVE IN THE TRI STATE AREAResponsibilities:
Analyze and reconcile related GL accounts.
Assist in month-end, year-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries.
Review, analyze and post T& E transactions.
Ad hoc projects as requested by management.
Process and close Fixed Assets.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have: 2+ years of experience, with a solid understanding of accounting. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Independent self-starter, with high initiative and strong work ethic, comfortable asking questions and learning from others. Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite (specifically advanced Excel); experience with Oracle Cloud is a plus.
