Payment Analyst

Description Robert Half is currently seeking a Financial Analyst for a position located in the Middlesex County, NJ area. Responsibilities: Ensure precise and compliant processing of event-related payments Review and approve payments to vendors, speakers, awardees, and other stakeholders involved in our conferences Verify that all payment requests are supported by appropriate documentation and are compliant with company policies, tax regulations, and best business practices Communicate regularly with conference organizers to provide updates on payment status and assist them in resolving documentation issues Utilize your financial analysis skills to ensure financial best practices are being followed Use Microsoft Excel and other financial software and payment systems to manage and track payments Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality Perform other finance administration tasks as needed.Requirements Applicant must have at least one year of experience in the field of payment analysis or a related discipline. Proficiency in accounting functions is a necessity for this role. Knowledge and understanding of finance and finance administration is required. The candidate should possess strong financial analysis skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is needed for data management and analysis. The candidate should be familiar with the industry. The role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with associates. The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks is crucial for the role.
