Position Overview:

The Quality Control Associate is responsible for ensuring that all products meet the required standards of quality and safety before reaching the market. This role involves conducting physical inspections, testing products, and identifying areas for improvement in testing processes. The specialist will work closely with warehouse, testing and management teams to ensure quality control measures are met and maintained throughout the production cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Inspection: Conduct detailed inspections of products at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Testing: Perform routine and non-routine tests on in-process products, and finished goods to verify product quality and performance.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and any corrective actions taken.

Defect Investigation: Investigate root causes of product defects, and work with relevant teams to resolve quality issues.

Training: Assist in the training of production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and proper use of testing equipment.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams to conduct audits or other related activities.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Graduates or Associates Degree.

Experience:

1+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance.

Knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.

Skills and Competencies:

Attention to Detail: Strong ability to detect and correct quality issues.

Problem-solving: Ability to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to document findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Able to read and write clearly in English.

Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Work Environment:

Work may involve standing for long periods and operating in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.

Occasional lifting of products and equipment up to 40 lbs.
