Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Vending Machine Attendant to manage and maintain three of our robotic vending machines located inside the ShopRite store. This on-site role is essential to ensure our machines operate smoothly and customers have a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Refill Materials: Regularly stock the machines with necessary products to ensure availability.
Machine Cleaning & Sanitizing: Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of the machines to maintain hygiene standards.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve minor technical issues to keep machines operational.
Customer Guidance: Assist and guide customers on how to use the vending machines effectively.
Product Sampling: Distribute product samples to customers to promote usage and engagement.
Requirements:
Ability to work on-site at the ShopRite location.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
Basic technical skills for troubleshooting and minor repairs.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
Contract Details:
Duration: Initial contract for 3 months, with the possibility of extension or transition to a permanent full-time role based on performance and business needs.
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week.
