Duties and Responsibilities (includes the following but not limited to):
-Ability to carry out recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards as set by company
-Cook breakfast & lunch items to order, according to company standards in a timely & efficient manner while maintaining a positive attitude
-Assist with food preparation (includes chopping, dicing, slicing, baking/pastry, etc.)
-Help manage stock and inventory of kitchen goods
-Able to use kitchen equipment such as grill, slicer, stove, fryer, ovens, etc.
-Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen and equipment
-Establish and maintain a positive work environment
-Additional duties and projects as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-At least one year of professional kitchen experience; experience with breakfast and lunch service a plus
-Ability to work with others in a team setting and be flexible to the changing needs of the kitchen
-Must have a passion and appreciation for cooking and quality food
-Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and independently
-Strong time management and organizational skills
-Ability to work calmly under pressure
-Able to follow instructions and established procedures
-Proactive mindset and initiative to solve problems
-Knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen tools/equipment, and safety rules
-Friendly, positive, enthusiastic attitude
-Must be able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
Full time. Starting at $19/hr, with compensation based on experience. You will be given a paid break and a meal for each shift. Health and dental offered. Paid time off. 401k matching program.
