Regional Director - Wound Care Center - Toms River, NJReq #:0000128448Category:Professional / ManagementStatus:Full-TimeShift:DayFacility:Community Medical CenterDepartment:Wound Care CenterLocation:CMC Support, 99 Highway 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755Job Overview:The Regional Program Director is responsible for the management and the strategic growth of the Wound Care and Hyperbaric Programs for RWJBH Southern Region CMC, MMC, MMCS,This position is responsible for the complete oversight of the regional programs, to include the following functions: day to day center operations, staff management, financial management, quality/performance improvement, and community education,The Regional Program Manager is also responsible for maintaining collaborative interdisciplinary relationships within and outside the organization and for creating effective working relationships between leadership and providers.Qualifications:Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field
Preferred:
Preferred 1 year of marketing/community education in the healthcare industry and clinical operations experience
Management experience preferred
Wound care experience preferred
Wound Care certification preferred
Certifications and Licenses Required:
BLS
HBO Certification preferred or must attend and successfully pass an HBO Training Course upon hire,

Essential Functions:
Oversees the day to day management of outpatient clinics and other wound continuum programs, as applicable,
Continuously assesses current clinic flows, processes and procedures, identifies areas of improvement, and develops and implements best practices and appropriate changes to improve outcomes,
Collaborates with other health care providers, Wound Care Center Providers, and Medical Directors regarding clinic and patient needs,
Manages and coordinates all aspects of the revenue cycle
Stays current with reimbursement changes, providing physician and staff updates and education as needed,
Reviews key financial reports, identifies key indicator trends and develops plans to implement best practices to ensure fiscal responsibility,
Responsible to assure all centers have required provider support for HBO clearances and supervision daily,
Manages costs through appropriate utilization and management of labor and supply,
Complete financial reviews and presents results to hospital leadership monthly,
Communicates on a regular basis with designated hospital executive regarding goals, targets, and other relevant referral development information, as needed,
Promote individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as a preceptor, mentor and resource to colleagues and staff,
In the absence of the front desk coordinator, schedules patients for outpatient wound care and HBO therapy, performs patient check-in and registration, as needed,
