This is a remote position located in the United States, preferably in the Alpharetta GA or Iselin NJ area.What you will do for Siemens Real Estate Americas:The Head of Project Management Office (PMO) will report to the Hub Head of Siemens Real Estate Americas and will hold a position with regional scope. The projects range from maintenance projects to full relocations and fit-outs.The Head of Project Management Office will interact and collaborate internally with the Hub Head of Americas, Germany Headquarters, Regional Asset Managers, Maintenance Technology lead, EHS lead, Operations Property Managers, and Regional Energy Manager. The Head of Project Management Office will have two main responsibilities:(1) Lead the SRE Americas PMO Team consisting of several Technical Project Managers(2) Drive Change and Project Excellence Improvement programs for the SRE Americas Organization.Additionally, as head of the Project Management Office team within SRE Americas, we're looking for a driven and hands-on engineer who is overseeing complex problems systematically with an unwavering sense of direction. As an inspirational and motivational people person, you will be challenging your team to unlock their full human and organizational potential.The PMO organization manages key support roles for all real estate projects in the Americas. We drive a culture of trust, safety, and business integrity - and we'd love to have you join our team!You will make impact with the following responsibilities:Project Management Office duties:

Implements and improves global standards for project business in the areas of Cost Estimating, Scheduling and Document Management.

Takes final decision on organization related budgets and decides resource allocation for PMO.

Initiates and oversees continuous development of Project Management infrastructure.

Ensures that assigned PMO resources meet all agreed performance goals.

Ensures technical project managers are available according to the planned workload.

Acts as personal advisor to Senior Management, in all PMO related issues.

Builds a high performing team able to deliver projects on budget and on schedule.

Project Management Excellence duties:

Determines development and continuous improvement of the global policies and standards.

Initiates and oversees continuous development of Project Management infrastructure.

Initiates and drives the continuous improvement for contract management, requirement management, resource management, time scheduling, cost management, quality management, opportunity management, risk management, procurement/logistic management, communication and collaboration, document management and configuration management.

Works with and directs Project Managers on PME topics.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:

BS/BA in Engineering or related discipline or advanced degree, where required. Certification may be required in some areas.

10 -15+ years of hands-on successful experience with the following:

Project Management or Project Management Office roles and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.

Externally recognized technology specialist in the respective field (e.g. Scheduling) who utilizes their network.

Document Management and Scheduling

Team Management and Development

Financial budgeting and reporting

Redefining processes/ change management

Setting and upholding quality standards

Analysis and interpretation of industry and product-related technical information.

Providing informative and professional assistance when working with the public/customers and co-workers.

Demonstrating exceptional oral and written communicative skills.

Demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills, even while working under time pressures and constant interruptions.

Working well independently and as part of team demonstrating support for team decisions.

Ability to travel 50% domestically and internationally with focus on North America as required.

Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree in Engineering or related field

PMI/EPMA Project Management Certification

Project Manager or in the Project Management Office in the real estate industry

Proven business insight

Negotiation capabilities

Strong team orientation

Project management experience

Self-motivated to produce high quality results within the time allocated, with limited supervision

Advanced user of MS Word, Excel and MS Project

The pay range for this position is $140,200 - $240,400 along with an incentive bonus structure. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
