Description We are offering a contract to perm employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to join our team in Montvale, New Jersey. Your role will involve managing the buying processes, maintaining purchasing records, and handling purchasing procurement. As a crucial member of our team, you will be required to use your skills in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and MS Dynamics 365 Business Central to ensure efficient purchasing activities.Responsibilities: Efficiently manage and oversee the purchasing processes in the organization Utilize your skills to streamline purchasing functions Assist in the selection of components and materials for purchasing Provide exceptional customer service to stakeholders and suppliers Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze and monitor purchasing data Ensure timely purchasing activities and management of materials Implement effective purchasing planning strategies to ensure optimal inventory levels Utilize MS Dynamics 365 Business Central for managing purchasing department operations Resolve any purchasing procurement issues promptly and efficiently.Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Purchasing Agent or in a similar role Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions Proficient in Microsoft Excel and About Time software Proven track record as a Buyer, with a thorough understanding of buying processes Demonstrated ability in component selection Excellent customer service skills Experience with MS Dynamics 365 Business Central Extensive knowledge of purchasing activities, functions, and management Experience working in a purchasing department Proven track record of purchasing materials and procurement Familiarity with purchasing planning Excellent communication and negotiation skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
