Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate is organized, patient-focused, and able to assist the dentist and hygienist in providing high-quality dental care.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during clinical procedures (fillings, crowns, extractions, root canals, etc.)
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
Take and process digital dental X-rays
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
Chart patient information accurately in Open Dental
Take impressions, pour models, and fabricate temporary crowns (if trained)
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
Ensure compliance with infection control and OSHA regulations
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
Assist with supply inventory and ordering as needed
Support front office or hygiene team when necessary
Qualifications
Dental Assistant certification or relevant experience preferred
X-ray certification (required or ability to obtain)
Familiarity with Open Dental preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
