Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Call Center Specialist in Albany, New York. As a key member of our team, you will be engaging with lottery retailers, promoting new products, managing orders, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a balance of excellent communication skills and a thorough understanding of our product mix, with a focus on promoting upcoming lottery promotions and new games.Responsibilities: Efficiently handling outbound calls to retailers, promoting new products and services Taking inbound calls and addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally Utilizing Enterprise Series (ES) and basic computer skills for data entry and order management Managing daily call files effectively and in a timely manner Ensuring all paperwork is accurately prepared and completed Informing retailers about upcoming lottery promotions, jackpots, and new games Collaborating with retailers and UPS to rectify incorrect orders and/or shipments Following up with retailers who have not confirmed orders Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and effectively Demonstrating problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues as they arise. Requirements Proven experience as a Call Center Specialist or similar role within customer service Strong proficiency in utilizing Call Center Customer Service software and tools Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to engage and empathize with customers Proficient in Data Entry with attention to detail and accuracy Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure Strong problem-solving abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high call volumes Willingness to work in shifts as call centers operate 24/7 Proficient in using computers and related technology Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed set performance metrics High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated Knowledge of additional languages may be considered a plus.
