Description ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPEACIALIST Anna Parson at Robert Half is seeking a sharp, eager Accounts Payable Specialist for our dynamic Distribution client in Bohemia.As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will:
Process full cycle Accounts Payable in a high-volume environment including 3-way matching, proper GL coding of expenses and purchases
Process vendor payments via wires and checks
Conduct vendor reconciliations
Build and maintain vendor relationships
Identify opportunities for process and efficiency improvements

Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar within the manufacturing industry Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices Strong Data Entry and Invoice Processing skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
