Bookkeeper

Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Bohemia, New York. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes within the manufacturing industry. Your role will be crucial in maintaining strong relationships with vendors and customers through a solutions-minded customer-service approach. Responsibilities: Process and manage full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Maintain accurate financial records and prepare aging reports Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and financial reporting Support monthly close processes and cash forecasting Manage 3-way match process and general ledger coding Continually improve and implement effective bookkeeping systems and processes Resolve customer inquiries related to financial matters Ensure compliance with all internal processes and financial regulations. Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in account reconciliation Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Solid understanding and experience in bookkeeping Proficient in using Microsoft Excel Ability to handle Month End Close tasks effectively Experience in creating and managing Aging Reports Must possess excellent organizational and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal High level of integrity and dependability Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
