OnBase duties: preparing selected closed files for scanning, preparing open files for scanning, assisting Project Managers in scanning new documents for open files

Correcting and updating of spatial data for PRP and PBP sites.

Assist PRP in prioritizing public water supply sites.

Verifying and entering well spatial data in EQUIS for up to 500 open sites and possibly a few thousand closed sites.

Green Practices data collection, entry and reporting for fund-financed sites.

Assist Project Managers with RP searches or historical searches such as prior ownership and property usage.

Labeling of leaksite files and checking for confidential information in files.

Minimum QualificationsPost-secondary education student working on an environmental degree or related degree.(To be eligible for appointment as a Student Worker you must be a student enrolled in an educational program or planning to enroll within three months. Students may be "off" for the summer or for one semester/quarter and remain employed as student workers, but such absences cannot exceed one semester/quarter in a year. As a student, you must be enrolled in high school or in a post-secondary or graduate program. If a student is enrolled at a credit granting institution, he/she must carry at least six semester (nine quarter) credits. If enrolled at a non-credit granting institution or one that only offers one credit per class, a student must be taking two or more classes per semester/quarter. Any lesser credit (class) load shall be treated as a semester/quarter off. Graduate students must be enrolled in at least two courses or making progress on a dissertation. You will be asked to complete an Educational Verification form prior to appointment.)The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency will not sponsor applicants for work visas. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.Preferred QualificationsOral and written communication skills sufficient to communicate with internal and external customers.Ability to work independently and with others.Accomplished in using computer programs (Microsoft office products, e-mail, intranet, internet, outlook).Ability to follow directions and carry-out detailed processes.Physical RequirementsRequires occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as file folders, ledgers, and small equipment. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.Additional RequirementsPosition duties may require travel but driving is not a minimum qualification or essential function of this position.
