Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are in search of a proficient Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Deer Park, New York. This role involves managing various accounting tasks, from assisting the controller with special projects and reconciliation work, to handling tax work and assisting the accounts receivable department as needed. The successful candidate will also be responsible for accounts payable and other ad hoc accounting projects as required. Responsibilities: Assist the controller with special projects and reconciliation tasks Handle tax work and assist the accounts receivable department as needed Oversee accounts payable and manage other ad hoc accounting projects Utilize accounting software systems and Microsoft Office Suite to perform duties Perform accounting functions including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) Conduct bank reconciliations and billing functions Use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook in daily tasks Leverage ADP - Financial Services for relevant tasks. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Knowledge and experience with ADP - Financial Services Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook Understanding and experience with Accounting Functions Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations Familiarity with Billing Functions Prior experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper is preferred Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
