We continentally strive to foster teamwork, engagement and enhance our employee's skills and competence by providing appropriate training.Compensation Range:$55,500 To $69,600Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.Job PurposeProvide technical and application support for EnerSys products and services, in the assigned area against profitable margins and in line with the business plan, in order to contribute to the realization of service- related sales and service targets.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesFollows all company policies and procedures as listed, but not limited to: warranty, safety, environmental, OSHA, DOT Hazmat, and ISO9000Operates material handling equipment per OSHA requirementsIs directly responsible for company assets such as service vehicles, inventory, tools, laptops, and test equipmentMaintains truck log, if necessary, according to provincial and or federal requirementsMaintains good communication with Field SupervisorCompletes and submits reports as requiredCoordination of shipping and receiving, and in the field, material audits to identify shortagesSupport the installation of DC Power plants, BDFB's, inverters, UPS, and DC Battery systemsSupport Commissioning of DC power plants, inverters, and battery conductance readings, testing of system and equipment alarmsPerform/support rectifier and inverter module swaps, and updating system inventoriesPerform/support Preventative Maintenance routines, which would include completing reports and data analysis, which would identify key areas where the clients could improve their systems or are at risk based on the data collectedInstall data cabinets, cable tray infrastructure, including load bearing axillary systems, Fiber Optic Raceways, Grounding and alarm connections Provide support for maintaining calibration of toolsInteracts with internal and external stakeholdersTravel when required to perform installations, repairs, and preventative maintenanceContribute to company revenue and margin targets by supporting the execution of quality work within project timelines and budgetQualificationsMinimum QualificationsRequires 4+ years of related experienceAble to travel (overnight) to support in-field operationsStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and TeamsStrong mechanical aptitudeAble to work and demonstrate safe work procedures with hand and power toolsAble to comprehend and compose documents such as customer correspondences, technical manuals, memos, and reports in EnglishAble to perform math calculations and measurementsHigh School Diploma or equivalentStrong organizational and planning skillsAbility to identify and find solutions for complex problemsThorough understanding of, and adherence to, safety policies and procedureAble to identify changes in scope,A strong understanding of company procedures and policiesStrong knowledge of our client's and industry standards such as IEEEPreferred Qualifications Advanced electrical understanding - able to identify and mitigate risks related to electrical circuits The ability to use test equipment and interpret the collected readings/data The ability to read electrical and construction schematics Post-secondary certificate/diploma or Red Seal Trade Certification (an asset)General Job RequirementsMust be able and willing to do overnight travelMust be able and willing to operate a forklift.This position requires you to drive a company vehicle. Therefore, you must be able to pass the company's driving requirements. Certain vehicles may also require a specific drivers license and have additional driving requirements.Must be able to differentiate colors.Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos on a daily continuous basis. Anything heavier will be done with the assistance of a mechanical device or with the assistance of another employee.Must be able to stand for long periods of timeEmployees are responsible for wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times.Must be able and willing to work overtime.Must be able and willing to work varying schedules which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays.Risk of electrical shock.This position is exposed to harmful materials such as lead/fiberglass products. Periodic blood tests are required to measure the level of lead.
