Billing Clerk

Description We are in search of a Billing Clerk to become a part of our team in the IT Consulting industry, situated in Hauppauge, New York. This position will require you to manage customer billing activities related to telecommunications installations, maintain accurate records, and resolve any discrepancies that arise.Responsibilities: Ensure all invoicing aligns with contracted amounts and agreed timelines using NetSuite. Accurately manage and process billing activities related to telecommunications installations. Utilize accounting software systems and ADP for financial services. Handle computerized billing and accounting functions. Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). Collaborate with internal operations teams and customers to promptly identify, investigate, and resolve any discrepancies in billing. Respond to inbound calls from customers regarding billing inquiries. Use 'About Time' software for efficient time management and billing processes.Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required Ability to manage Computerized Billing effectively Familiarity with About Time software is preferred Understanding of general Accounting Functions is necessary Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Excellent in Answering Inbound Calls with professionalism and courtesy Prior role in IT Consulting industry is a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
