Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description We are offering a significant role for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in our distribution industry based out of Bohemia, New York. In this role, you will be expected to manage and ensure the accuracy of our financial records, handle customer inquiries, and oversee all general accounting functions. This role provides a unique opportunity to utilize your skills in Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, Billing Functions, and Microsoft Excel.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all general accounting and finance duties Process and manage customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency Maintain and update customer credit records on a regular basis Handle and resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Ensure accuracy in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Conduct regular auditing to maintain financial accuracy Manage billing functions and utilize Microsoft Excel for financial data management.Requirements Must have proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Proficient in handling Accounting Functions Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Knowledge of Auditing is necessary Ability to carry out Billing Functions Expertise in using Microsoft Excel is needed A minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant field Excellent organizational and leadership skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Must have a proactive problem-solving attitude Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field is required Certification as a Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant is a plus.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
