Bookkeeper

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Liverpool, New York. This role is within the construction industry and will involve maintaining and managing financial records, including sales audits and bank reconciliations. Responsibilities Typing weekly job and scheduling reports. Handling phone calls on a multi-line system. Auditing sales and generating profit sheets for each project. Auditing subcontracts bills, generating checks and 1099’s. Providing insurance forms, lien release, and other construction documents. Managing inventory spreadsheets. Handling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including collection calls. Conducting bank deposits and reconciliations. Filing job folders, purchase orders, packing slips, etc. Entering basic sales and invoices in QuickBooks and generating reports. Verifying vendor and supplier invoices and packing slips. Managing company supplies and petty cash. Conducting invoice reporting for buying group.Skills Full Charge Bookkeeper Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Bank Deposit Daily Bank DepositsRequirements Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in handling Bank Deposit operations Familiarity with Daily Bank Deposits procedures Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent organizational skills Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information Proficiency in using financial software and databases Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
