Newly opened Chinese/Taiwanese restaurant seeking experienced and highly motivated individual to join our small team.
Fun and upbeat kitchen environment.
Looking to fill one line cook position for Friday & Saturday night dinner service and a couple afternoons for prep.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferred, saute experience a must
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
