Heavy Civil Construction Company seeking a shop mechanic or mechanic assistant. Experience is preferred but not necessary. Candidate must have a clean valid drivers license, an interest in mechanical work and high degree of mechanical skill. Candidate should like machinery and the challenge of working carefully and diligently to maintain equipment in good operating condition. Candidate will participate in all phases of maintenance and repair on equipment from small engines to large equipment to shop cleanliness and organization.
Some field work in Heavy Construction will be necessary upon proper training.
Candidate must be a legal US citizen, and is expected to keep shop very clean, to learn and abide by safe work practices at all times.
