Job Summary
We’re looking for two hands-on, detail-oriented Bookkeepers to help organize and manage financials across multiple businesses. This is a part-time, in-office contract role with a length of 3-4 months ideal for individuals who can make sense of disorganized financials.
You’ll handle pulling statements, categorizing expenses, implementing expense tracking systems, and identifying tax write-offs. This position requires a self-starter mindset, discretion, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile expenses and accounts across multiple businesses and entities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ensure all transactions are properly categorized.
- Assist with tax preparation and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
- Develop and maintain a financial tracking system for expenses across different businesses.
- Handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business & Accounting or Bookkeeping certification is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or tax-related roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets required. Experience with at least one accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) is preferred.
- Comfortable working with complex financials.
- Must be capable of maintaining confidentiality.
Job Type: Contract (4 months)
Schedule: Part-time (3 days a week, in-office)
Pay: $28.00 per hour
