Description We are seeking a highly experienced and New York Barred Senior Associate Attorney with 8+ years of legal experience. The successful candidate should have robust abilities in conducting thorough legal research, adept legal writing skills, managing a caseload, and providing utmost support to partners in managing their caseloads. A background in real estate, zoning litigation, or commercial litigation is a valuable asset but is not required.Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate your caseload in different stages of litigation.

Provide comprehensive support to our partners in managing their caseloads efficiently.

Draft legal advice, documents, pleadings, motions, briefs, and opinions.

Conduct meticulous and detailed legal research.

Handle court proceedings, including trials and deposition.

Develop a legal approach and strategy to manage cases effectively.

Regular interaction with clients to understand their issues, provide legal advice, and keep them updated on their case matters.

Mentor and guide junior associates, paralegals, and other legal staff members.

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Valid license to practice law in New York.

8+ years of extensive legal experience.

Proficient in undertaking comprehensive legal research and drafting precise legal documents.

Proven experience in managing a diverse caseload efficiently.

Significant court and deposition experience is required.

Specific experience in real estate, zoning litigation, or commercial litigation will be an added advantage but not mandatory.

Stellar written and oral communication skills, as well as excellent negotiation and interpersonal abilities.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
