Peri-Anesthesia Clinical Nurse s implement the nursing process for IR and Endoscopy patients in both the Pre-Procedural and Post-Procedural Recovery area. You will:
Facilitate patients through the procedure process as well as providing intensive monitoring and nursing interventions post-operatively.
Perform duties under the direction of the nurse leader/charge nurse.
Participate in the implementation of clinical support programs and quality assurance activities to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum.
You need:
New York State RN license and BSN
Minimum of 2 years of related clinical experience, preferably in a critical care area
Surgical oncology experience preferred
National Certification highly preferred
BCLS and ACLS required
Hours:
10 hour shifts flexed between 6:00am-9:00pm including weekends .
