As a server, you will have the opportunity to engage with a diverse set of customers daily, while ensuring that foodservice goes as smoothly as possible.Where you'll be working:Abraham Joshua HeschelWhat you'll be doing:
Greeting customers promptly and in a friendly manner, explaining specials and menu items, taking orders and continuing with follow-up items to improve the meal while ensuring that the service is completed in accordance with health code regulations.

main responsibilities: Printing and organizing labels for a large quantity of packed meals daily serving students during lunch time ensuring that allergy friendly meals are being served to the correct students. maintaining a full and clean service line during lunch time assisting the kitchen team with cold food item preparation supporting the kitchen with any dish cleaning and organizing daily position requirements: adhering to the cater to you uniform policy. maintaining a consistent and reliable schedule the ability to have flexible working hours and willingness to do over time for catering events. adhering to the NYC DOH safety and sanitation codes basic level of computer skills understanding administrative processes high level of organization fundamental knowledge of allergens in food service the ability to work in a fast-paced environment strong customer service skills
