Description We are looking for a Network Manager to join our team in New York. The Network Manager will play a crucial role in supporting our systems remotely and on-site, ensuring optimal functionality across servers, workstations, and networks. You will work closely with our Project Manager, providing expert advice and support on a range of projects.Responsibilities Provide remote and on-site support for server, workstation, and network functionality Install and configure applications and operating systems on customer hardware Troubleshoot user problems, identify their sources, and implement effective solutions Set up and maintain servers, firewalls, switches, and related equipment Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure successful project execution Review scope of work and execute project implementation Create thorough documentation for all projects and support incidents Work with various networking equipment and software, including Cisco Routers, Aruba, Meraki, and SonicWall Ensure optimal functionality and security of firewalls, switches and servers Provide expert guidance and support on a range of networking issues. Requirements Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in network management Demonstrable proficiency in Cisco Routers Proven expertise in Aruba networking equipment Experience with Meraki cloud-managed IT solutions Proficiency in SonicWall cyber security products Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and work towards deadlines Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred Relevant certifications in network management will be an added advantage Knowledge of network protocols, network management systems, and network architecture Ability to maintain confidentiality and carry out assignments that are sensitive in nature.
