Pantry Assistant

Description We are in the drink and beverages industry, located in New York, New York, 10036-7703, United States. We are seeking a Pantry Assistant. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. The Pantry Assistant will be responsible for assisting in various tasks related to the marketing function. Responsibilities: Assisting in the preparation and organization of pantry and beverage services Ensuring the pantry area is clean, well-stocked, and presentable at all times Coordinating with the marketing team to facilitate day-to-day operations Providing hospitality services to team members and guests Utilizing basic office skills to maintain records and manage pantry inventory Covering for team members during their absence, ensuring continuous service Resolving any pantry-related inquiries or issues promptly and efficiently Assisting with receptionist duties when needed. Requirements Possess basic office skills including filing, sorting, and managing supplies Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry Experience in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed Ability to lift and move heavy items when required Familiarity with basic food and beverage handling safety standards Good communication skills to interact with staff and vendors Flexibility to adjust schedule as per office needs Basic problem-solving skills to handle any pantry-related issues Willingness to adhere to all health and safety regulations in the workplace Ability to work in a team environment and support colleagues as necessary.
