Description We are in the process of recruiting a Legal Assistant based in New York, New York. The appointed candidate will be working in the legal industry, providing assistance in the compilation of binders, reviewing documents, and offering other litigation support. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Assist in compiling binders and reviewing documents for legal proceedings. Provide litigation support as required. Schedule interviews and reserve conference rooms as needed. Handle and assemble paperwork from job applicants. Respond to callers and complaints, assisting with the review and intake of complaints. Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites to effectively manage documentation and review. Manage the booking and reservation of conference rooms for meetings and interviews. Support the litigation process through the compilation of necessary documents and materials. Handle customer complaints and inquiries, ensuring effective resolution and customer satisfaction. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Demonstrated experience in documentation, review, and paperwork management. Capable of handling and resolving complaints professionally and effectively. Ability to schedule interviews and manage meeting calendars for legal teams. Proficient in litigation support, including helping with case preparation and organization. Experience in reserving conference rooms and managing other logistics for meetings and events. Strong skills in the compilation of data and reports related to legal proceedings. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all tasks. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Adaptability and flexibility to handle changing work demands.
