Job Description:Role Summary/Purpose:This role is responsible for supporting the Fair Lending Compliance Program by providing functional fair lending oversight to the Credit and Collections Teams as well as serving as the primary Fair Lending contact for strategic partners. In addition, this role will also participate in the fair lending risk assessment, provide training, develop robust monitoring, and support strategic initiatives. This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events.Our Way of WorkingWe're proud to offer you choice and flexibility. Occasionally you may be required to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as business or team meetings, training and culture events.Essential Responsibilities:

Identify fair lending risk through broad-based fair lending knowledge

Provide functional fair lending oversight for Credit and Collections

Support the Fair Lending Program Framework by owning and completing the risk assessment and providing employee training on identification of fair lending risk for the functions and/or processes this role supports

Build strategic relationships within Credit, Collections and client teams to aid in the identification of fair lending risk

Provide ongoing guidance and continuous monitoring to ensure fair lending risk is effectively mitigated in the functions this role supports

Cross-train to perform Model and Consumer Segmentation Tool reviews in Marketing in a surge capacity

Support Strategic Initiatives by integrating with Risk Lead on identifying fair lending risk and suggest enhancements to mitigate risk

Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's degree, plus 5+ years of work experience in the financial services industry or in lieu of degree, 10 years of financial services experience

5+ years of experience with exposure to fair lending principles and regulatory hot topics within the consumer credit/private label credit card industry

5+years of coordinating cross-functional teams and/or managing a team

5+ years of successful work in a matrixed environment, leading projects and presenting results to senior leaders

Desired Characteristics:

Industry certification such as Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)

Excellent communication and influencing skills to coordinate with multiple functional areas and independently present explanations of complex subjects to senior management and partner with teams throughout the company

Ability to objectively identify risks, effectively challenge and communicate fair lending risks

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to be forward-thinking in the identification of future risks and work cross-functionally to mitigate identified risks

Grade/Level: 13The salary range for this position is 130,000.00 - 210,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.Eligibility Requirements:

You must be 18 years or older

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
