A New Mediterranean restaurant is set to open its doors in early 2025, bringing a vibrant Mediterranean dining experience to Manhattan. We are committed to offering an unforgettable dining experience, featuring authentic flavors and warm hospitality. Seeking experienced and passionate individuals that can make our guests feel extra special.

Duties and Responsibilities

Able to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs (Weekends, nights and holiday availability required)

Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know he/ she is there to personally take care of them.

Make recommendations that genuinely feel our guests will enjoy.

Basic knowledge of liquor, beer, wine and classic cocktails.

Answer questions about our menu items and other restaurant functions.

Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale system.

Deliver food and beverage from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner.

Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.

Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any and all requests.

Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change (if applicable).

Assist fellow servers as situations arise.

Assist support staff with clearing and resetting tables.

Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.

Fill in as needed to ensure the smooth an efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the manager on duty.

Be knowledgeable of food allergies.

Be able to communicate and understand English.

Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.

Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.

Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
