SBLM Architects is seeking a professional, well-polished Receptionist/Admin Assistant.
As a Receptionist/Admin. Assistant, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. You will be responsible for greeting clients and visitors, managing phone lines, handling correspondence, and performing various administrative tasks. You will play an integral role in supporting our team and contributing to a welcoming office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients, visitors, and staff with a professional and friendly demeanor.
Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate team members.
Manage the office calendar
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries to include FedEx and messenger service.
Maintain and organize office files, documents, and supplies.
Assist with preparing letters and editing documents.
Provide general administrative support to management teams.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Prep coffee and ensure breakroom is tidy.
Handle other administrative duties as assigned by the office manager or leadership staff.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher preferred.
Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Familiarity with office equipment (printers, fax machines, phones, etc.).
Positive attitude and customer service oriented.
