Bike shop seeks a sales representative for full-time schedule. Approximate 8- 9 hour shift each day. Previous bike store experience is very helpful. If you do not have any knowledge of bikes, an interest and willingness to learn is a MUST. You will need to complete sales training to learn our products and our process.
We are looking for someone who wants a long-term job and who wants to grow with a local business. There is room for growth and promotions within our company.
Responsibilities and qualifications:
-keep front of store clean and orderly
- help customers with questions and to find what they need
-checkout customers and complete transactions and keep an accurate cash drawer.
- assist with marketing (ex: taking pictures for social media, telling customers about promotions)
- assist the service center with creating work orders and communicating with customers
-knowledge of Lightspeed POS is a plus
-minimum 2 years in retail
-must have a willingness to learn new skills and be a proactive member of our team
- Some bike repair knowledge is a plus but not required
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time and lift 30lbs.
