We’re seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to help bring our social media content series, to life. The show captures the emotional highs and lows of sports betting in a fast-paced, engaging format. Your role will involve turning raw footage into polished, shareable videos optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.

- Responsibilities:
Edit short-form videos (60-90 seconds) for social media, ensuring they’re dynamic, engaging, and optimized for each platform.
Sync and overlay game highlights (if provided) with participant reactions, adding split screens and visual effects.
Add eye-catching graphics, text overlays, and animations to enhance storytelling and boost audience retention.
Incorporate trending music, sound effects, and social media filters to make the content pop.
Maintain consistent branding and tone aligned with the concept.
Collaborate with the creator to brainstorm creative editing ideas and storytelling techniques.
Export final videos in various formats optimized for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter.
Most of the videos are recorded at night when the games are played, so must be willing to have the edit complete to post by 10am the following morning
- Qualifications:
Proven experience in video editing, with a portfolio showcasing short-form social media content.
Proficiency in editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
Knowledge of mobile-first editing tools like CapCut or Splice is a plus.
Strong understanding of social media trends, especially for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Ability to create engaging text overlays, transitions, and animations.
Bonus: Familiarity with sports betting, sports culture, and major sporting events.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
- Preferred Skills:
Experience editing multi-camera or split-screen formats.
Knowledge of audio mixing to balance dialogue, music, and sound effects.
Basic motion graphics or animation skills (e.g., in After Effects).
Passion for sports and storytelling.
