Med Com Cleaning, Inc. is in search of a reliable, detail-oriented Day Porter to join the team for a newly acquired building.
DESCRIPTION
This is a role with ongoing duties. The individual must be able to lift at least 55-70 lbs and follow supervisory instructions. Tasks include, but are not limited to:
Monitor bathrooms and clean when necessary
Vacuum, mop, clean windows, and other general cleaning tasks upon request
Make rounds to ensure the building is well maintained and free of clutter
Remove trash from various areas
Deliver items and supplies
Relocate and/or rearrange furniture upon request
Take calls for spills
EDUCATION
At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
QUALIFICATIONS
Environmental services/janitorial experience preferred, but not required. On-the-job training will be necessary to acquire a working knowledge of cleaning procedures as well as operation and maintenance of housekeeping equipment. The candidate will also have the ability to understand oral and written instructions. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates preferred.
HOURS
Must have availability Mon-Fri, 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Weekends as needed.
PAY RANGE
$19-23/hour based on experience
