Lanovara is both a food manufacturer and distributor. The position entails delivering and merchandising fresh bread in grocery stores. We have box trucks and bread vans that do not require a CDL. We deliver Monday through Friday with routes in Rochester, Syracuse and Buffalo NY. With this position you will be driving Monday, Wednesday and Friday locally, finishing up the day with some warehouse duties. Opportunities to cover longer routes for extra hours while other drivers are on vacation. Tuesday and Thursday will be in the warehouse performing some simple tasks. Also filling in with production if needed in the bakery or sauce operation.
The job duties will be to deliver AND STOCK fresh bread in grocery stores. You will be our customer service representative in the store! For this position, you should be able to lift, pull and push moderate weight. Kneeling is required when merchandising the breads on the store shelf. Experience working in grocery stores is a definite plus. Warehouse duties include pulling product from the freezer and putting orders together for pickups, cleaning the floor, organizing and putting away various products. Pallet jack and forklift experience are preferred.
