Job Title: Construction General LaborerJob DescriptionThe foreman will be responsible for chipping and breaking concrete and bricks using hammers, saws, and chipping tools. They will also clean up debris, dispose of it, and move materials around to maintain a clean work site.Responsibilities
Chip and break concrete and bricks using hammers, saws, and chipping tools.
Clean up debris and dispose of it properly.
Move materials around the work site to ensure a clean and safe environment.
Essential Skills
Must be able to lift 75 lbs on a repeated basis.
Experience using a chipping hammer.
OSHA 10 Certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in demolition.
Labor experience.
Cleaning experience.
Proficiency with crowbars and power tools.
Work EnvironmentThis position is within a commercial construction setting. Work hours are from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The crew size includes 10 workers plus an additional 5 workers. The dress code requires work pants, a T-shirt, a hi-viz vest, a hard hat, steel toe boots, and work glasses.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
