Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Call Center Specialist in Valley Stream, New York. In this role, you will be the first line of communication for our customers, handling a large volume of calls and addressing inquiries, requests, or concerns. This role involves providing excellent customer service and requires strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities: Serve as the initial point of contact for customers, assisting with inquiries, requests, or concerns. Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, ensuring each customer receives outstanding service. Use Microsoft Excel to process and track customer applications and requests. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. Utilize communication and problem-solving skills to resolve customer inquiries effectively. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to call center operations protocols. Collaborate with the team to improve customer service processes and procedures. Utilize your skills in call center operations to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Continuously develop your knowledge of our products and services to better assist customers.Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. Prior experience in handling inbound calls is essential. Familiarity with call center operations and procedures is needed. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high call volumes. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer issues effectively. Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays. High school diploma or equivalent education level is required. Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred. Bilingual skills are an asset but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team. Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Basic computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
