This position oversees the scheduling and management of sports leagues, fitness classes, and aquatic activities, ensuring they meet the needs of a diverse community. Key responsibilities include recruiting and managing staff, maintaining equipment and facilities, organizing events, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The coordinator will also collaborate with community partners, monitor program budgets, and develop strategies to increase participation and engagement. At least five years teaching experience
Previous experience as a coach required
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable
NYS Teaching Certification required
NYS Coaching Certification eligible
