Description Jenny Bour at Robert Half is currently working with a well-established manufacturing client seeking a Production Planner/Scheduler! As a Production Planner/Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in optimizing production operations and ensuring that products are delivered to customers on time and in accordance with high-quality standards. Your primary responsibilities will include supply chain management, production planning, and scheduling. This Production Planner/Scheduler position is a permanent role with a company in the West Seneca, NY area. Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth flow of materials and products within the supply chain.

Utilize forecasting and inventory management tools to optimize inventory levels.

Monitor and analyze production performance data to identify opportunities for process improvement.

Evaluate and manage production capacity, adjusting schedules as needed to meet business goals.

Ensure production plans are aligned with company goals, quality standards, and cost efficiency.

Work closely with Industrial Engineers to enhance manufacturing processes and productivity.

Implement and maintain best practices in production planning and scheduling.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

3+ years of experience in supply chain and production planning scheduling in the manufacturing industry.

Strong proficiency in production scheduling software and ERP systems.

Knowledge of industrial engineering concepts and principles is helpful.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
