Data Entry Clerk

Description We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team located in WHITE PLAINS, New York. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for performing high volume data entry for utility bills and following up with vendors. This role is a long term contract position, offering a dynamic work environment and an opportunity to develop your skills in the retail industry.Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently enter data for utility bills Follow up with vendors regularly to ensure timely processing Use MS Great Plains Dynamics system for data entry tasks Utilize Excel to maintain and analyze data Ensure all customer records are kept up-to-date and accurate Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally Assist with other administrative tasks as needed Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial files and records.Requirements Proficiency in data entry and related software applications Experience with entering invoices accurately and efficiently Excel experience needed and familiarity with MS Great Plains Dynamics or other similar ERPs a plus Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work effectively in a team environment High school diploma or equivalent educational experience Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems Consistent reliability and punctuality in a work environmentRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
