Description We are searching for a corporate paralegal available immediately for long-term contract engagement, located in Cary, North Carolina. In this role, you will be tasked with assisting in day-to-day operations, managing contracts and databases, and handling corporate governance responsibilities. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Assisting with daily operations within the corporate structure Handling and managing a variety of contracts, including Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs) and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) Utilizing a contract management system for efficient and organized contract handling Drafting initial versions of contracts as needed Filing and managing corporate documents and operational duties Addressing corporate governance responsibilities effectively Ensuring accurate record keeping of all legal documents Resolving any issues or inquiries related to contracts and corporate governance Adapting to new contract management systems as they are implemented Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action as neededRequirements Proven experience working as a Paralegal within the Chemicals Manufacturing industry or similar. Demonstrable knowledge of Corporate Governance principles and procedures. Proficiency in Contract Management, with the ability to handle various contracts simultaneously. Strong understanding of contracts and their implications in the Chemicals Manufacturing industry. Solid experience in drafting contracts, ensuring all legal requirements are met. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills to interpret legal documents effectively. Sound knowledge of legal terminology and principles. Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Bachelor's degree in Law or related field is required. Paralegal certification from an accredited institution is preferred.
