We are a small construction company looking for a dependable, honest, individual, with a good work ethic, to work in a casual small office environment and assist the Owner with bookkeeping duties including -
Managing financial records, processing payments, invoices, income and receipts
Entering data into Quickbooks Contractors version
Preparing financial statements; cash flow, profit and loss, balance sheets
Helping Accountant/CPA in preparing financial compilations and annual reviews
Recording inconsistencies and reconciling inaccuracies
Assisting in reviewing project estimates and expenses
Quarterly closings and reconciliations of accounts
Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances
Completing and filing annual 1099 forms
Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting on any errors
Administrative duties associated with payables and receivables
Experience and with job cost accounting and Quickbooks are necessary
Experience and knowledge of construction and AIA applications is a plus
