Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions

These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools

Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies that could enable the delivery of alerts/notifications to clients via email, sms and push channels

May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource

Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations

May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application

Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants.

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of experience : Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Webservices(SOAP/REST with JSON), Oracle PL/SQL and ORM frameworks

Strong knowledge of CashPro outbound client communication solutions including the triggering, composition of static/dynamic content and the delivery of SMS, email, and push notifications

Understanding of subscription and non-subscription based alerting within the CashPro framework and the management of client selections and preferences

Can deploy and use Velocity and FreeMarker templates hosted in Digital Content Hub

Is proficient in working with distributed caching systems and message brokers

Spring 5/6, JMS, JDBC, Cache, Transaction, AOP, REST Frameworks

JBOSS 7/8

WebServices (SOAP/Rest with Json), Google FCM and Apple APNs push notification APIs

Hands on with PL SQL and ORM frameworks

IBM MQ, Kafka
