Lakeside Repair Pros is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Mason to join our reconstruction team. We handle residential and light commercial buildbacks after fire/water/smoke/mold damage—so your craftsmanship helps families get back home.
Position: Mason (Full-Time | W-2 or 1099)
Location: Greater Charlotte / Lake Norman (projects across Mecklenburg & surrounding counties)
Start: ASAP
What You’ll Do
Lay brick, block, and stone for walls, veneers, steps, patios, and piers
Perform repointing/tuckpointing, mortar repairs, and crack/chimney restoration
Build/repair retaining walls, mailbox columns, and small foundations/footings
Set lintels/headers, install control joints, and ensure structural alignment
Read scopes/site plans, measure/cut materials, and maintain clean, safe sites
Coordinate with project managers and other trades during buildbacks
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of professional masonry experience (brick/block/stone)
Solid knowledge of mixes, mortar types, and proper curing/finishing
Able to lift 80+ lbs and work safely on ladders/scaffolding
Driver’s license and reliable transportation (company trucks available on some jobs)
Your own basic tools; we supply larger equipment and materials
Professionalism, punctuality, and attention to detail
Nice-to-Haves
Chimney cap/crown experience, cultured stone, and hardscape layout
Small-form carpentry/concrete skills in reconstruction settings
Familiarity with restoration timelines and insurance scopes
Pay & Schedule
Competitive pay based on experience + opportunities for performance bonuses
Consistent workload, Monday–Friday (some Saturdays as needed)
