NCDOT Ferry Human Resources is seeking an individual that is self-motivated and interested in working diligently to meet the human resources needs for NCDOT Ferry. This position is designated as the Ferry Organizational Management Coordinator. It is a non-supervisory position assigned to the Ferry HR office. This position is responsible for coordinating and tracking the organizational change management requests for NCDOT Ferry. This includes reviewing paperwork for accuracy prior to submission to Central HR. This position also acts as the change coordinator by initiating and completing related OM actions as needed in the Human Resources Information System (BEACON/Fiori).This position also serves as a central point of contact for assistance and monitoring of the Learning Management System (LMS) for Ferry including acting as a liaison for performance management assistance as needed. This position will support the Ferry HR Manager with recruitment initiatives. This will include collaborating with local organizations, colleges, schools, etc. to plan recruitment events. It will also assist the Ferry HR Manager with creating marketing strategies for recruitment including upkeep of Ferry social media platforms used for recruitment.This position will act as a backup for qualification and salary administration needs as requested. This requires reviewing applications to determine qualification status of applicants, as well as reviewing hiring packages to ensure compliance with merit-based hiring practices. Additional responsibility includes the review of salary recommendations to ensure compliance with salary administration policies.
